We kicked off spring with a beautiful and nature focused wedding at Foreland in Catskill, NY. The bride, an aviation interior designer and the groom, a lawyer brought the perfect mix of cool and contemporary to their upstate celebration.
The ceremony was set on the waterfront lawn. The couple wanted a sustainable backdrop, and Eliza from Boom and Bloom Floral delivered. The floral played into the early spring environment perfectly. The couple sealed their vows with a ring warming and hand tying ceremony.
Following the ceremony guests feasted on a beautiful spread from the team at Heirloom Fire. The heat of the open fires were perfect for the brisk April afternoon.
Guests moved into The Bookhouse for the reception. A beautifully restored building with artful nooks all throughout the space. The simplistic decor with a touch futuristic and natural aesthetic continued on to the tables capes and details. In the daylight the space feels open and airy but seamlessly transforms into a moody dance party as the sunsets. Eliza created an earth meets sky arrangements for each planet named table with foraged moss, branches and a touch of floral.
The couple wanted a great party vibe and to capture the night vibes. Miria from Weddings By Nato nailed it when the band kicked off and guests were there to party!
Have you thought about what is most important to you on your wedding day and how you can personalize it to feel like you? We’d love to help you figure it out!
